Laboratory Services : We can provide most routine laboratory diagnostic test. Some test can be performed during the appointment (such as skin scrapings and fecal exams) and other tests that require specialized laboratory procedures are sent to Antech Diagnostics which is one of the largest animal laboratory services available in the United States.

A microchip is a safe, simple form of identification that can significantly increase the chance that your pet will return safely.

Behavior problems are the number one reason that owners give up a pet. We offer behavior counseling for a number of issues such as inappropriate urination or defecation, aggression, separation anxiety, inappropriate chewing and barking, introduction of new pets into the household and household pets that are in conflict with one another. Oftentimes a behavior problem, such as inappropriate voiding, can be linked to a medical issue (cystitis, bladder stones, and kidney disease).
We will help you recognize, validate and categorize any behavior issues you may notice. We will then work closely with you to develop a plan to help eliminate your pet’s unwanted behavior. If we cannot help with your pet’s behavior problem, we can refer you to a specialist in animal behavior.

The decision to euthanize one’s pet is one of the most difficult decisions for a pet owner. It is often accompanied by grief, anxiety and guilt at the thought of saying good-bye to a treasured companion.
For us, euthanasia is a responsibility we take seriously and reverently. It is a privilege to be included in a time where final moments are spent with a beloved friend. We are able to compassionately release our patients from their discomfort and offer the owners a chance to say good-bye to their companion at peace in the comfort of their own home. Our patients aren’t required to spend their last moments frightened or distressed in a hospital environment. Rather, they spend their last moments in the arms of those they love, on their favorite bed, blanket or lap. These final moments together are precious and we do our utmost to make those moments calm and serene.
